Public Service Officer Erik Barragan actively supported the Public Service Program by participating in the grand opening of Burn Boot Camp as part of a strategic business outreach initiative. During the event, Officer Barragan engaged directly with Burn Boot Camp owner Colin, fostering a positive connection and strengthening community partnerships.
Demonstrating a hands-on and approachable presence, Officer Barragan joined in the grand opening activities—including participating in a workout session—which helped build rapport and visibility with attendees. His willingness to engage on a personal level contributed to a welcoming and relatable representation of the Public Service Program.

In addition, Officer Barragan connected with local protein cookie vendors, taking the opportunity to explain the purpose and benefits of the MetroWest community and public service efforts. He concluded his outreach by thanking participating vendors and community members for their hospitality and for including him in the celebration, further reinforcing goodwill and collaboration.
Officer Barragan’s initiative, community engagement, and positive attitude exemplify the core values of the Public Service Program.
