MetroWest Launches $1.2 Million Community Signage Renovation Project

MetroWest has launched a $1.2 million signage renovation project designed to enhance the community’s appearance, improve wayfinding, and strengthen MetroWest’s overall public image. The project began with the installation of updated wayfinding signs along MetroWest Boulevard and includes the renovation of the community’s iconic entrance monuments.

This marks the first comprehensive signage renovation in MetroWest’s more than 33-year history. The updated signage reflects a long-term investment in the community’s identity and visual presence.

According to MetroWest Master Association General Manager Julie Sanchez, the goal of the project is to create signage that feels updated, elegant, and timeless. The new designs integrate natural materials and a softened color palette intended to complement the surrounding landscape while carrying MetroWest forward for decades to come.

In addition to the signage itself, the project includes new landscape design surrounding all monument signs. This coordinated approach ensures the signage blends seamlessly with MetroWest’s award-winning landscaping and overall aesthetic.

The signage renovation is being completed by Media 1 Identity Solutions of Longwood, Florida, with landscape design by Dix.Hite+Partners, also based in Longwood. The project was planned to conclude in early July.

As one of Orlando’s first master-planned communities, MetroWest continues to prioritize thoughtful improvements that enhance both function and appearance. This signage renovation reflects an ongoing commitment to maintaining a welcoming, well-designed community for residents, businesses, and visitors alike.
